OUR CLASSES

Reading, writing and comprehension skills are the basis of any students' academic journey. 

These classes will focus on advancing your child's reading, writing, grammar and communication skills in their early years in order to prepare them well for lifelong learning. 

Students in these classes will look at improving their 'age appropriate' numeracy skills in whole numbers and arithmetic, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Comparisons and measurement, in both numeric and pictorial form, as well as fractions and proportionality, patterns, and various topics related to geometry. 

The NAPLAN tests provides information on student progress in literacy and numeracy across all Year 3, 5, 7 and 9 students in NSW. 

In our stage 3 and 4 classes we will work with students to increase their writing, reading, conventions of language – (spelling, grammar, punctuation), and numeracy; in order to prepare them for the statewide NAPLAN testing.

Stage 5: Further algebra and equations, Variation and rates, Functions and graphs, Geometrical figures and proof, Introduction to networks, Data analysis and statistical enquiry. Further probability.
